Presets change

When you open a new project the presets (new) have the settings of the before selected project properties (pages/orientation etc.) ... is this a bug or a feature? I wish for ages that presets are saved, but this is probably the worst place to start with it, since they should be kind of "templates" ...

People often complain when something forgets the last settings you used. You've probably seen that here in the forums. (And maybe even had that complaint yourself.)

But sometimes people complain when something remembers the settings. There are a mix of areas where things are remembered or not. I do not think this has changed since V1 (but I have not gone back to confirm that).

@Walt, I fully agree with you. I'm sure I've been one of those people complaining big time about settings that revert to (mostly) irrational initial values - not having the chance to either save a different preset or at least save the last entered value (I admit). But in this case we are talking about templates! They should always keep their initial values (did you ever see a word dotx template change?) - unless you save it as a different template? So it seems things were changed at places where they should not be changed - but did not improve in the areas where it would be useful and necessary ...
