I’ve had designer for awhile. It has always always gone into not responding since install. It’s just getting worse. I’m using a HP Envy with Windows 11. Now I can’t do a project that in reality should take me less than 10 minutes, it takes me over 40 minutes. It’s to the point that after any changes that I make it goes unresponsive for at least two minutes. Any ideas before I switch to Adobe?

I've had this issue as well in Publisher. Apperently the bug was in the preflight menu. I switched it from 'Live' to 'Export' and the bug was fixed.

Hi @CarrieG636and Welcome to the Forums,

Are you still having trouble with Designer?  If you are, can you first try going into Preferences and on Performance if openCL is ticked, untick it and close Preferences and you'll be asked to restart Affinity.  Once restarted, try your normal workflow and see if you have any freezes. Also please make sure you have the latest update installed for Affinity which for Version 1 is 1.10.6 (for V2 its 2.0.4).
