Style edit box: newly typed text appears over the top of the existing text

IF you change the name of a style in the style edit box the new text appears over the top of the existing text, so you can't read either.

It saves correctly and shows the right name after the box has closed.

This ihappens every time; its not occasional

Mac OSX 12.6. Publisher V2. Working on files within a Book (4 chapters).

Hi Miriam, fyi this is a known bug in 2.0 for macOS and hopefully will be corrected soon. It affects a few different texts fields in a few windows but fortunately it's just a cosmetic issue.

The issue "Overlapping text in Light UI" (REF: AFB-6811) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1799".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
