Bad position of the size example circle!??

Stupid question, but I try it anyway.

When I'm using the paint brush I can set the size of the brush on the left side and then the brush size example is obscured by my hand/arm.
In v1 the brush size example circle was in the topleft, which was fine.

Can I change the position to top left myself or is it fixed?
Or should I change the position of the settings panels to the right?
Not sure how, appreciate your tips 👍

Am I the only one having trouble with this?

No it is a massive problem in V2 compared to V1, it has been reported previously, my suggestion was to move the brush size indicator to closer to the top of the screen whereas it is positioned close to the bottom of the screen next to the old context toolbar !

I noticed that too. I haven't used v1 on iPad though, so I have no comparison.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

Definitely an issue…but I tend to use my left hand to alter/control the Size, while Painting…similarly as I do in Procreate.

‘Allows you to vary the size while Painting…unless wanting to maintain for precision, of course.

‘Still should be elsewhere, if not ability to be place elsewhere.

Make it like the modifier keys button symbol. Switch on/off, drag anywhere on screen, resized by brush controls (size, opacity, wet edges, colour or whatever can be added to icon).
