Disappointing HDR workflow in Affinity Photo V2 (same as V1)

I was really hoping that the workflow for importing/opening files for an HDR merge would be improved in version 2.0 of Affinity Photo. In Version 1.0, the user has to use the File->New HDR Merge... and then navigate to a specific folder and select files

Ideally, I would like to select photos in the Photos app in MacOS for an HDR merge. If that's not feasible, Affinity Photo should offer more flexibility to start a HDR Merge:

- Allow drag and drop in the "New HDR Merge" window. 

- Add an option to select already opened files for a new HDR merge. Combined with an option to open files from Photos app or the finder, this would make the process of starting an HDR merge much easier.

I want to have this function for focus combination also.  Drag and drop for HDR merge and Focus Combination would be a good first step.

Makes the workflow much easier.
