000 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Hi, I noticed that some of the buttons in the new UI are a bit too small to click them quickly -- it takes another second or so to identify and find the exact point of where to click. While it looks super neat and needs less screen space than in version 1, I preferred the slightly larger, easier to click buttons. Espiecially the up/down arrows in the Character and Paragraph panels are tough to ,hit' when I'm in a hurry and these are button I need constantly, so they need to be easily clickabl without consciously "aiming" each time. Aammppaa Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 I agree that these buttons are very small, so I find it easier to roll the mouse wheel over the value box (a far larger target area!) Remember you can hold Shift (to jump in 10s) or Control (to move in 0.1s) as you roll. Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
Shompinice Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 I agree, Windows Version has this problem too Quote

I rarely use those buttons, just in case you missed it: - In the Character panel: You can click on the labels (before value boxes) and start dragging right/left to adjust the value. This concept applies to similar parameter setups like those in the Transform panel. - On the contextual toolbar, where labels are not available, you can hover the mouse over the values and scroll up/down to adjust them. Tip: Holding Shift while doing above dragging and scrolling will increase the value adjusting speed. But I agree sniping those buttons is a pain, even having them there already makes a mess of a UI. Catshill Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 I find them difficult to use as well. Quote

The height of the spin button can no longer be increased, because the height of the editing field would have to be increased as well. But its width could definitely be increased so that it is as wide as the combobox button.
