Designer iPad V2 crashing

iPad designer V2 is crashing regularly. I have a feeling it’s the auto save feature. I decreased to 30 and it crashed quickly. Expanded it to the highest level and it’s not crashing. 
iPad Pro 12.9 , 2019 I think. Last model before M series processors. 
 

let me know if I can help investigate further.

Both affinty photo and designer crash all the time. So frustrating. Probably going back to version 1. 
 

edit: can’t go to v1 because incompatibility. 
even upgraded to new m 2 iPad Pro.

Can confirm this, though sporadically, and cannot really specify causes between all three apps.

Is definitely more than V1 of Photo and Designer ever did….of course cannot say about Publisher, as it just released but know it has crashed when simply creating a new document, and walking through the settings (much less working on documents).

For the most part, still pleased though…and have V1 of the two others if needed.

We have since released a few updates for Affinity V2, the latest version being 2.0.4 - can you please confirm for me, has updating to this version resolved this issue for you?
