I can’t seem to find the sources panel after doing a focus merge on photo v2 for iPad. The website suggests that this is NOT. A desktop only feature and (from what I’ve been told since v1) it’s a MUCH requested addition. I don’t want to spend money for an upgrade. Can someone make this make sense because I don’t understand why the feature sorely needed (and I know you know this) to correct issues with a focus stack is missing from the hardware that is BEST suited to take full advantage of it?

my(soon to have) M2 iPad Pro is more powerful than a majority of desktop hardware and even my current iPad Pro is more powerful than a lot of pc laptops.

I know there’s a workaround (I’ve been doing it for a long time) but this is ridiculous at this point. It shouldn’t be EASIER for me to create a stack in PS and then import it just to have the sources remain like most people would expect from a STACK.

or MAYBE, just MAYBE you can allow us to finally do a focus merge AFTER we import and align a stack so our layers remain.

States in Help features for iPad that it is available but doesn’t appear to be the case.

Thanks for this thread - I am testing out Affinity and will primarily use my iPad Pro, but if there isn’t a way to use the Source panel or another way to edit focus merges I don’t think I will continue. The actual merge on the iPad worked great/fast/no issues. But I have a little ghosting I was attempting to remove but I don’t see a practical way to do that. Hopefully there can be an update soon.  If anyone has suggestions, I’m glad to see them.

At THIS point it would be welcome to just hear “no. We’re never doing it and we hate you” instead of the lies followed by THREE YEARS of silence”
