endnotes go to different frames

Recommended Posts

Hey again!

I'm trying to understand the notes and still have some problems :)

If I want to make endnotes. Publisher creates a page at the end of the document.

So I put this page to the end of the chapter (where I want to have these endnotes). After adding some endnotes, everything worked fine, but then, the next endnote just added a new page after the one I worked on and ignores the already made endnote page. So it makes a NEW endnote page.

The position of the notes was always separate frame.

So how can I force this new endnote to appear in the page with all the other endnotes instead of making a new endnote page?

I hope you understand me :)

Best regards

Affi

thanks, but I've already tried every possibility of this setting. If I check the shared doc frame publisher makes a new page at the end of the document. It seems that publisher just forgot the page I already have for the endnotes.

Is it maybe because I moved the first made page on another place in the document?

Could well be.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Humour me. Can you click in the endnote which appears on the new page, and do a screenshot of the part that I did above.

I had "separate frame" all the time and it worked that way (32 endnotes). The endnotes were added to the page I moved from the end of the document to the end of the chapter. Now if I want to add the 33th endnote with "separate frame" it will be added in a new page after the page with the 33th endnote.

If I choose "shared document frame", the endnote will be added at the end of the document with the number 1.

I don't know, what for should I make a screenshot of that.
