Kiran Madalu
Indic language KANNADA Unicode font not appearing properly. I attached screenshots of various apps ( Vectornator, Amadine, adobe fresco and Apple pages) which is supporting Kannada font perfectly well. Affinity suite is not supporting the Unicode Kannada font properly And strange thing is when I type Kannada in file saving dialogue box in affinity publisher for iPad , it’s perfectly showing Kannada font with no mistakes. (Affinity publisher saving dialogue window screenshot attached for your reference’ pl help me resolve the issue. thank you.

Isn't it likely that this is just another example of the limitations that the Affinity apps have in dealing with Indic fonts? I don't expect any of those to be resolved for a long time. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&q=Indic&quick=1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.3, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.

Support for Indic Unicode fonts has not been included in the list of new features for version 2 of the Affinity apps. Although it’s possible that such a feature could be added in a 2.x update, it would be unwise to expect it.
