marke
If I don't have trackpad present I tend to zoom on canvas using the mouse-scroll zoom. However, some notes: - It's working wrong way (scroll up vs down), if we consider OS X system zoom (can be enabled in System Prefs) as a standard, plus some OS X-based apps, like Sketch. - It's really sensitive. I'd say too sensitive. Sketch has it done nicely. - Would be nice if the keyboard "key" is configurable.
Staff MEB Posted January 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 20, 2016 Hi marke, Thanks for your feedback. Personally i don't think it's too sensitive and i'm using both a Magic Mouse and a regular mouse with scroll wheel. If you're coming from Sketch it may look too fast but i believe it's more question of habit. I find Sketch zoom way too slow... You can set a custom shortcut key for the Zoom tool and also for Zoom in and Zoom out commands in Affinity Designer Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts section.
