Sarolta Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Greeting. I have a really stupid question. Sorry for my amateur knowledge. I can't find anywhere in Affinity Designer where I can set the automatic page number settings. I would like the page numbers to be visible on the printed material - several pages. Thank you very much in advance for your help. Quote
Komatös Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Hi @Sarolta There is no page number counter for Designer. This is only possible in Publisher. Komatös Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Right, it's not possible. You need Publisher for this job. Sarolta Posted November 15, 2022 Author Posted November 15, 2022 I'm very sad. I downloaded the trial version of the publisher. I created a master page where I set the page number with the frame text tool, but the page numbers do not appear on the page What do I do wrong? Quote

You have to assign the master page to your actual pages. Also did you just write the number or did you use the Page Number from the Right Click menu? Quote
Stepaan Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Converting from Artboards is a special case. Since I don't understand details, I can just ask you to drag the Master A onto Page 1 and see, if it works. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 You cannot create an Artboard in a document if the document has more than 1 Page or it has a Master Page. And you cannot have both Artboards and Pages in a document. You can convert a document with Artboards into one with Pages. Or, if you have a document with exactly 1 Page and no Master Page, you can convert that Page to an Artboard.
