Good afternoon, when drawing in Pixel mode, the mouse disappears in the program.
That is, when I start drawing everything is fine, but after a while the mouse disappears in the program.
And this error is solved only by restarting the program.

Are you using a pen tablet? Do you have Windows Ink enabled on the Affinity Designer settings?

This too happens to my Designer 2 using the Pixel Persona on Windows 10 after I enabled Windows Ink when using my pen tablet. In my case, I can solve it by opening the Blend Mode option in the on the context bar while using the brush tool.

Hi @Serfus & @THEDZKO,

Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here.

Can you please confirm for me, what tablet model are you using with Affinity?

Is this the Windows Ink option within Affinity, within your tablet drivers, or within Windows itself?

Are you able to provide a screen recording of this issue for me so I can test further here?

If you're unsure how to take a screen recording, please check out our FAQ linked below -

Many thanks in advance!

My sincere apologies too for the delayed response. I was having a problem buying the V2 suite. So...

Disclaimer: I was using the trial version of Affinity Designer 2. Maybe that doesn't have any effect on the programs, but I want to point it out, if it has something to do with that. Also, I'm using Windows 10 Pro with the 22H2 update.

Tablet model: The tablet I'm currently using is the Huion H1060P. I know you guys have stated that Wacom is the only officially supported pen tablet for your apps. I don't know if that's still the case (if it is, c'mon guys, Huion is biting Wacom's booty).

Windows Ink Setup: I had the feature turned on through the tablet drivers (Huion Software). But the problem only started after I enabled the Windows Ink settings inside Designer 2. I even checked by disabling it on the app and the problem never occurred again.

I haven't been able to recreate the bug because I have been using Photo instead of the Designer's Pixel persona for drawing. But I'll try to and will update you guys on this problem. But the bug, as of now, isn't present on Affinity Photo with the Windows Ink check enabled inside the app.

No problem at all, I certainly understand - many thanks for the information provided!

I will be sure to pass this through to our team for further investigation and I will log any bugs with our developers, as required.

In the meantime, we would recommend leaving Windows Ink disabled in Affinity to workaround this issue - many thanks once again :)
