Bonteburg
Hey everyone, OK at the risk of sounding like a complete paranoiac but the license agreement says I can install Affinity on each computer I own and control. I took my laptop to the repair shop yesterday for the yearly cleanup and gave them my computer password to run some benchmark software (I guess), and by doing so, technically waived the "control" part (?) albeit to a trustworthy entity. Just wondering what the EULA experts say to such a constellation. Google, at any rate, doesn't have much to say about that. walt.farrell
Just guessing, but it seems like you still own it, but two people can control it. I don't see an EULA problem, because you're still one of them, But of course it would be an excellent idea for you to change the password when you get the machine back. Bonteburg
Haha yeah thanks! It soon occurred to me that it might have been a bit weird to think about such a thing. Thanks @walt.farrell for the password tip though. That's legit something I haven't thought about in two years of taking my laptop to that shop. walt.farrell
