Affinity Publisher - move object in textframe

Recommended Posts

Hello!

My name is Michael and I am an Affinity newbie and switching from Indesign. I really like Publisher and hope there will never be a abo requirement.

Now I have my first question. I have a square placed in a text frame and would like to move it down a bit. I select it and move it with the cursor keys. But as soon as I click somewhere else, the square jumps back again. I'm sure you have a tip for me on how to do this, right?

Here is a screenshot:

Thanks for help!
Michael

I knew it had to be something simple

It is only simple once we know how to do it. I know how to do it but I frequently forget. Several minutes of me thinking "I know this is a simple operation..." several times a day.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
