After I installed several brushes through the »Import Content» feature in both AP2 and AD2, there are a lot of icons that I do not have the slightest clue what they meant.  Could it be that I have duplicates and triplicates of several brushes in the list?

The link icon indicates that the brush is available in all 3 programs, but what does the other icon mean, that one that looks like a bag?

It is what you bought (or the free provided items) in the affinity store.
And it is downloaded through your account.

Make sense.

Thanks!

I had spotted these and was also curious.  Then I came across the "official" answer to this question in the Help, under the "Add-Ons" section.  Here are the first two pages (of four) from that section in the Designers 2 guide:

Just to add-on (!), manually installing a brush bundle via 'Import Content' (in Photo 2) resulted in those brushes being available in the other two apps, so there's some auto-share/linking happening (now?) with manual installs. The (free) brushes download link came from the Affinity store and weren't available in the (app) My Store add-ons. After (manual) install, the brushes appear in (apps) My Account with a warning icon, when clicked advises a fresh version of the installed brushes/bundle can be downloaded (from My Account) and the existing bundle re-named.

Was curious so I deleted the brushes/category from the apps, then checked their My Account which now showed the brushes/bundle available as a 'normal' download. Downloading via My Account worked normally, the brushes auto-linked/shared between the apps, and a delete option on (app) My Account was now available where once there was only the '..download a fresh version/rename old..' option.  Seems the documentation prob needs some updating?
