APho 2 for Ipad right handed users

Recommended Posts

I admit that I'm new to Affinity on iPad, but the sliders being on the left side is actually for a reason:
You can adjust the sliders with your left hand while drawing/painting with your right hand. Simultaneously.

So from my perspective, it's a feature, not a bug.

That said, go to Preferences > User Interface > Left-Handed Mode.
Voilà.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

Yes that works but, would have preferred the options on the bottom rather than the right, since thats the way Im used to working.

Dont see the need to force this change, the new sliders should have stayed at the bottom, so keeping interface consistent with the past.

This is the kind of thing microsoft does, ie force a positional change for no benefit, but does disrupt user workflow. The sliders arent the issue, but where they are positioned.

I dont see why they needed to be moved, the fact that the sliders are there is great, but leave them at the bottom.
