I know in Publisher V1 there wasn't a way to add fields that when a PDF is published, those fields would then be fillable to use in the future. But I was wondering if that feature has been added into the V2 version of the app to help me decide if I want to upgrade and then use the feature when creating my PDFs

Welcome to the forums @FlagBean

That functionality has not been added to V2.0.0.

We users have no idea whether it will be added to future versions and it’s unlikely that Serif will tell us before it is, for various good reasons.

Do you have any suggestions of other tools or software that you use to accomplish this? There are a few other PDF editors online and some look a little less legit than I would like :P just wondering if anyone had any preferences for this.

It's not something we are asked for often so I don't want to spend fortunes on it to be honest but it would be handy to know where to go to if I do need it.

It's a shame it's not in Publisher but perhaps there is just not the demand for it.
