Yuri P.
Comparing to V1, RAW files load time is quite long. The same is true for JPEGS, to a lesser extent.
c_moon
On RAW files I'm consistently getting 5 secs for V1 and 25 secs for V2 for a 32.55mb file. I don't have graphic acceleration - but is that relevant to loading?
ashf
Same here slower than v1

I can't actually change the settings as, in accordance with help, "The setting is inaccessible if Affinity Photo is unable to detect a compatible GPU on your system". Thanks. walt.farrell

Hi Chris, reading your answer I'm confident that this issue could be resolved soon, so I just upgraded to V2, thanks Chris B
Staff Chris B Posted November 17, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 17, 2022 Quick update - the slow raw loading is due to us applying noise reduction on open as opposed to doing it after the raw has opened. This will be reversed. Tks Chris, I already noticed it and reported in my previous post, see: but raw loading time is still doubled compared to v1 even with noise reduction set to off in develop assistant. Any ideas? Any ideas? I think the problem is that it's automatically doing it on load, before it even gets to ask the Assistant if it can. I'll double check, though.
