Very long loading time for RAW files.

Just to be sure: Have you actually looked in Preferences > Performance to make sure?

V2 enables it in some cases where V1 didn't.

Hi Walt.  Yep.  It said I couldn't enable hardware acceleration anyway as I don't have a supported graphics card.   I can't actually change the settings as, in accordance with help, "The setting is inaccessible if Affinity Photo is unable to detect a compatible GPU on your system".  Thanks.

Tks Chris, I already noticed it and reported in my previous post, see: 

 

 

but raw loading time is still doubled compared to v1 even with noise reduction set to off in develop assistant. Any ideas?

I think the problem is that it's automatically doing it on load, before it even gets to ask the Assistant if it can. I'll double check, though.

Done some tests with a RAW File (NEF) 28MB.

In V2   Open GL  WARP    25 sec
           No GL      WARP     14 sec
           No GL      HD530   13 sec

in V1   Open GL  Warp    20 sec   
           No GL      WARP     3 sec
           No GL     HD530    3 sec

System:   Windows 10/64, i5-6600/3.5 GHz, 10 GB Ram usage, M2-16GB RAM
