Question about Warp Tool on Affinity Designer

Many of my Affinity assets are vector and raster elements combined (after all Designer has a pixel persona), but the warp tool in AD seems to work with “pure” vector elements only. Is this by design? Is there a workaround to make both raster and vector elements work with the warp tool? 

Edit — it’s clearly by design so my only question is — if there’s any workaround to use the warp tool on assets which combine pixel and vector elements.

Yes, it only works with vector objects. There's more improvements we would like to implement in the future but for for now it only supports vector objects.
