Product keys vs. account driven licenses

Hey everyone,

quick question for the switch from product keys to account driven license handling.

I bought the Affinity V2 Universal License and noticed I didn't get any keys (like you do with V1 purchases). This makes sense considering that its a multi-platform license, and it would be tricky or impossible to deal with it any other way (I guess).

My question is this now: If I were to purchase the desktop applications individually (for Windows, let's say), would I get a license key or are these handled with account licenses as well?

There are no Product Keys with the V2 applications.

Do you have a specific problem you're trying to solve?

I don't have a specific problem to solve. I just don't like the idea of the validity of a license depending on someone else's computer running. To me this looks like a first step towards an Adobe-like environment. Avoiding that was the reason most people bought Affinity products in the first place, I think.
