stefano.cecere
now that v2 is here, with many new features, but many pros still needs some to really be comfortable with the Suite... could we please have a minimal roadmap on what you are working on? even something really generic like this Trello roadmap (for the Obsidian app). we know, and you know, that we don't have many other options today.. or Adobe, or Affinity, unless we want to use separate apps for specific works..).. we want to support you, but we need to be kept engagend, and know where you are going! for example: if you aren't goind to support ePub or external texts in Publish.. we aren't goind to use it for next books. if you aren't supporting RTL before 3/5 years, we accept it and use something else from today. if you plan automation in 2 years, we could use a temporary solution... thank you! Tia Lapis
Don't think they will publish a roadmap. Roadmaps gives to much information to other companies. They had one before and that did not seem to be a concern. The real problem is that plans change often enough during the ongoing development of the product that the roadmap is not really accurate. When things do not happen the way people think they should it leads to even more complaints and questions when there is no roadmap at all, so they finally dropped it and stopped providing one. Emagineer
On RTL text, I seem to have read somewhere that there are no plans to ever include that functionality. Which is very displeasing to me as I could use it. But I'd be interested in a confirmation or rebuttal... Edit to answer my own question: I searched the forum and it looks like the Serif staff is interested in RTL, but I see no timeline. Also it looks like the app RTL fixer (https://rtlfixer.com ) might be a more timely solution.
MikeTO
The one feature that has been confirmed as in development, without a date attached, is support for scripting which would be huge as it would enable others to fill some of the feature gaps.
