Photo 2 has become painfully slow on my macbook pro 2019 (intel i5 8GB ram) .

for instance switching layer blend modes takes around 3 seconds to show changes.

I think it started to drag after I switched to the export persona to export a tiff and went back into the edit mode to perform some changes.

Is anybody else experiencing this super slow performance with Photo v2? I haven’t experienced this with v1 or latests Photoshop version, pretty sure is not my computer.

I'm experiencing beachballs when changing styles / moving layers / some other operations in Designer and Publisher V2. I suspect it could be something with how it's rendering UI elements? But I have no clue.

Hi Dgee,

Are you still having these issues on the latest version?

If so could you please let us know which OS you are running?

Lee

Hi Lee, thanks for your message. I Have not had the chance to use it much ever since and besides I'm on much more powerful M1 Pro Mac now but I´ll report back as soon as I work with Photo 2 again.

Hi.

I’m using a MB Pro 16GB

Ram M1 Pro OS 12.6.3.

Using Photo 2. Have (literally) 1 x jpg layer (1024 x 1024) in doc. Getting intermittent, but noticeable lag in the tool movement.

It doesn’t matter which tool type I select, the stutter is still present.

Am not getting this lag in Designer 2.

Luckily, I only really need to use Photo 2 in order to add a perspective effect to a layer (C’mon, make this a thing in Designer too), otherwise it would be very frustrating.
