Setting brush tool colour (split)

Hello, I have tried to create new brushes I cant find the way to change the color once its created.

I have tried creating a intensity brush, I tried using a png with the new image brush option, I tried creating a brush from selection and as soon as I create it it wont allow me to change the original color I created in.

My goal is to create a hair brush and I can’t just create a new one or use the color overlay every time I try to create a strand of hair, that’s time consuming.

You should be able to use the colour panel or with the brush tool active hold the alt key down to select a colour from anywhere on the screen.

Make sure your brush is black, not a colour.
