Graphics Card Question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new to Affinity Photo and just downloaded the trial version.

The demo loaded and runs just fine in my old (2017) laptop. The graphics card is a basic Intel Graphics 520 integrated on the motherboard.

The requirements for Affinity Photo is a Direct3D level 12.0-capable card. I'm sure my video card is not Direct3D but it is DirectX version 12 (FL 12.1).

Is this a problem? Everything seems to be working just fine!

Thanks for your help,
Paul

If it's working fine, carry on.

Out of curiosity what processor do you have? Any of these: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/graphics/88355/intel-hd-graphics-520.html

Thanks for getting back so quickly,

The processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz   2.40 GHz with 5.9 GB of shared RAM and 12 GB total RAM.

Developed a couple of images and did some adjustments in the Photo Persona while watching a training video on-line. Affinity Photo works flawlessly!

The size of the RAW files from my Olympus E-M1 Mk II are only 20 MB.

Any idea how long the 40% discount will be available?

Paul
