morgrimm
Hi all, I've been designing a home page for my personal website, and I decided to ask some people's opinions on it, so I exported it to a png for imgur. To my surprise, when opened in Preview (Retina MBP 2015), the colors were way off. Some were inverted, and when full screened most of the image turned black O.o. I thought something was wrong with the color profiles, but they are set to RGB/sRGB, so I don't know what is going wrong during the export. The file is attached, and I'm trying to export the Home artboard as a slice. Any help would be greatly appreciated :3 mockup.afdesign
Staff DWright Posted January 19, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 19, 2016 Hi morgrimm, Welcome to the forum. I have had a look at you sample file and when I export the artboards to PNG the images are showing correctly in preview, can you please confirm the setting that you are using when exporting. I have attached a screen shot of the PNG that I exported. Regards, Darren
morgrimm
Hi Darren, thank you for the fast reply! :) The screenshot that you've posted is not correct. The background is the color that toolbar is supposed to be and vice versa (the toolbar is supposed to be the darker color, and the background white). I've attached a screenshot of the artboard within Affinity Designer, and the artboard once exported, as well as my document color setup and export settings. Staff MEB Posted January 19, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 19, 2016 Hi morgrimm, Seems there's a bug with PNG transparency that's causing a few issues. I'm logging this to be looked at. Meanwhile, to export your PNG correctly click the More button on the bottom of the Export dialog and set the Matte colour to White. Let me know if you still have trouble.
