strange new alignment of the menus

Hello,

all Affinity V2 Apps have a new menu orientation in Windows (windows 11, last build): The menu will now be aligned to the left. It's a bit unusual and confusing. This is not the case with the versions for Apple. Is that right? Is this intentional or am I missing something?

Apple Mac are aligned to the right. The edit menu is probably a better example because of all the shortcuts displayed.

ah - Thanks a lot!

it is in Windows 11 under Pen and Windows Ink, where you can select left and right hand writing. I didn't know this would have an effect if you didn't use a pen. (and why is Affintiy V2 the first program to react to this?)

Thanks for adding the info’ for people with Windows 11.
If you can add that to the original thread too – just add a post telling people where to find the setting – then that would be useful.

I’ve no idea why this happens but I’ve heard of it happening on other applications too; maybe the Affinity applications allow for more types of input than most other software (or something).

It's not. It has affected V1 users, too.

but perhaps not with Windows 11: on the same computer both versions are installed, but only V2 shows the behavior. V1 does not react on the Pen settings.

I have this behavior on every Affinity apps (V1 and V2) on windows 11 and windows 10

Sub menu are jumping either left or right : you never know

I am working on desktop and probably for this reason have no means to change any parameter in Pen setting.

Somtehing which is not new and should really be fixed : I have a lot of other application and never found such an issue
