A consistent bug I've been having is that when I switch from one vector brush to another, Designer highlights and indicates in the Brush panel that I have made the change, but it does not apply the new brush to the new marks I make. I have to reselect the new brush and then it starts to apply the changes when I start drawing again. Sometimes this takes several iterations of strokes/reselection before Designer recognizes the change.

I have encountered a good deal of lag in the Pixel brushes as well, definitely seems like the brush engine is struggling. The brushes are nigh unusable in Photo V2, especially the Mixer brushes, seconds of lag between strokes.

Not super mad, just wanting to report the issue. Thanks.

Update:  Tried disabling Hardware Acceleration as was suggested for some other bugs. No change. Still same issues across Photo and Designer V2.

Hi @KynaMH,

Are you using a Mouse to select the brushes or a drawing tablet and pen?  Also what brush sizes are you using and if you can give me the name of a brush that lags for you, i'll see if the same happens for me but so far, in my tests to replicate this on my Windows 11 laptop, i haven't been able to.

I use a Wacom Intuos Pro medium. I've only tested default sizes and brushes at this point. In Designer, the brushes mostly behave ok with the mouse, though it does still stutter switching to new brushes on occasion. In Photo I have serious brush lag regardless of using mouse or tablet, especially the mixer brushes still, and the switching between brushes remains inconsistent. Designer is at least usable, but Photo is not.
