crbagwell Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 I opened a file in AD V2 (created in V1). I changed the canvass size to 11x17 and tried to print. It is printing to small! I tried to go back to v1 and it won’t let me open the file because changes were made in V2.😡 how do I get this to print correctly? I am fulfilling a custom order and need to get it done today! Quote
MikeTO Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 You can't open v2 files in v1. You're trying to print an 11x17 document to 11x17 paper? That should just work. I don't use Affinity on my iPad so I'm not entirely sure what printing options exist. Is there a scale option? If not, export to PDF and print it from something else. PDF is always a good workaround. Good luck! DM1 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Does your printer have an app. If so, try Exporting and use Share to select the printers app. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). crbagwell Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 Yes I had canvas set to 11x17 and 11x17 paper in my printer. I also created a new V2 document 8.5x11 and it printed too small. I did have correct page size set and 100% scaling.😡I did NOT have to export any in V1. Also, now I find that V1 won’t even find my printer (I assume since I updated to V2 that apples did something that blocks this use). Quote

V2 doesn't even know that you have V1 installed so it didn't do anything to your printer setup in V1. Staff NathanC Posted February 10, 2023 Staff Posted February 10, 2023 Hi @crbagwell apologies for the delayed reply, Are you still having issues with this as of the latest app version (v2.0.4)? if it is, could you perhaps provide us with an example file and screenshots of how it appears after printing?
