Persona Tone Mapping Presets -- Im-and export

As an enthusiastic Affinity Suite user, I immediately switched to the new version V2 on the first day. However, I also noticed deterioration:

Persona Tone mapping

In persona tone mapping V1, I created and defined many of my own presets with version 1.

I was able to export and import these presets.

Unfortunately, this is no longer possible in V2 !!!

That means I can no longer use all my own, self -defined presets (which I can no longer secure and export)! Is this a mistake or has this possibility deliberately left out?

Which OS are you using? On my Mac, the 3 line 'hamburger' menu has the same items in it as in V1, including the Import Presets item.

Same hier on Windows11 PC. The Hamburger Menu only offers CLOSE and CLOSE GROUP.

All of those options to create, import, export etc. for Tone Mapping Presets are missing in Photo 2 on Windows for me, too.

So I'm guessing this is a Windows-only omission....

Someone should start a bug report for it.

Until Serif fixes the hamburger issue you can copy the V1 tone_map.propcol into the V2 folder

On this box (Program bought from Serif site, MS store versions will be elsewhere, try searching for the file) V1 is here
%AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user

V2 is here
%UserProfile%\.affinity\Common\2.0\user

I'd rename the V2 version then copy over the V1. As soon as you use the Tone Map Persona,
tone_map.propcol gets renamed to tone_map.propcol_backup1 and a new V2 file is written, notice a small file size increase

My question is how am I supposed to install another .aftonemap files? I deleted v.1 of Affinity Photo.

You wait until they've released a patch that fixes bug afp-5678

(or, if urgent, I suppose you could reinstall V1 of Photo, and repeat the above process)
