Publisher V2 ist not able to import V1 files and crash with clipboard

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the test Version of Publisher V2, because I want to upgrade. I opened a document I designed with publisher V1, but it seems to be totally crashed (see the attached versions of the V1 pages an d the V2 pages). There seems to be a large white area, that doesnt't allow me to use text on the left and parts of the right page, but it is not possible to get this area away. Even if I put the text all to the foreground, it is not visible and if I draw it to the right side, it becomes visible. Any suggestions on that? An Upgrade makes no sense, when I'm not able to use the old documents.

Another problem: When I select the text contents of the frame (not the text frame itself), copy it to the clipboard and try to insert it into another text frame, the program stops working ("window not responding"). I can reproduce that every time.

At the moment, the program doesn't seem to work stable...

This is probably to do with the order you have your layers, try placing all the text layers at the top of the layer stack. this enabled another user to be able to display the text where exporting to PDF displayed blank space.
