Removing V1

Now that I have installed and begun using V2, how do I remove V1?  Apparently I can't just drag it to the Trash ?  I'm running MAC OS Ventura.

Simply drag it to the trash. It’s really that easy

Yes, but be aware that if you ever need to share work with someone who has NOT upgraded to v2 (there are people choosing to stick with v1, some for legitimate reasons and some for more questionable reasons), the documents you save in v2 will not open in v1.
