blackstone
Working in a text frame is getting slower and slower. It sometimes takes 6 to 10 seconds for the cursor to move in the frame.

blackstone
Publisher V2.0 Nothing changed. Working in a textframe is so slow. I can not work anymore.
walt.farrell
Can you record a video showing the issue? Can you share a sample .afpub document that illustrates it, and tell us exactly what you are/were doing? "Working in textframe" is a very vague description. Does this happen with all documents, even a new one? Or does it just happen in one document? If so, how big is the document, and what does the text frame contain? ReinhardJ
I have the same problem: At the beginning everything is fast and good - with time the work on text frames gets slower and slower. My machine: Windows 11 Pro 22H2, AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.70 GHz. The problem also existed in version 1 at the beginning, but disappeared after an update. The problem is reproducible. The settings in "Performance" have no effect. It is an average booklet: 36 pages.
blackstone
I want to say it again. Working with textframes ist very slow. To mark a frame costs time, may 2-3 secounds and to click inside the frame costs time. Changes for the performance have no effect.
bernhardwa
I couldn't agree more. Working with text windows is very jerky. But worse is that on my Windows PC the cursor turns white and is then no longer recognizable.
alvfaria
Hello. I'm having a problem with V2 on Win 11. The text cursor disappears when I move it, and takes about one seconds of delay to show again (when working on text frames). It's very annoying. I'm used to work with In Design, where no such things happen. I checked V1 and it has a similar issue, but much less proeminent. There's some workaround for this, or is it a bug? I'm trying to move off from adobe, but this little thing is a real let down for me.
alvfaria
In fact, the cursor seems to turn white when moved, and 1 or 2 seconds after stopped, it turns black again. EDIT This is exactly what's happening. I put a gray rectangle behind the text frame and the cursor turns white when moved.
