Missing Artistic text tool

I am unable to locate or add the artistic text tool icon on my toolbar with affinity photo v2

Hi @Aaron GreeneWelcome to the forums.

The Text frame and Artistic text should be located underneath the Pen Tool on the left hand side menu. If you switch your display to Portrait does it appear? Have you tried force closing the app and reopening? The app also has a built in reset to try if the restart didn't do anything. With the app closed, tap the icon then when you see the splash screen single finger double tap to bring up the Clear User Data screen. On here you don't need to enable anything just tap Reset.

If all the above fail please let me know which model of iPad you have and the version of iPadOS running.

You need to scroll the tools. Unfortuantely, there's nothing to suggest that scrolling the tools is possible. I've reported this to the developers. You'll also notice on the right-side that the Resource Manager icon is clipped—this bar is also scrollable.

There are other areas with this same situation, Chris. I can't point to it right now, but I encountered one of the Studios that is longer than my iPad's screen (landscape mode), and it's scrollable, but there's no sign of that until you start scrolling. Then a scroll bar appears. Not sure if that's due to something in the Affinity app or if it's something in iPadOS.
