Allan Niklas
I installed and registered my three new Version 2 programmes yesterday. I also had the chance to work with them, yesterday. This evening 11/11/22 I wanted to play a bit with them and they do not initialize. They do not load fully.
walt.farrell
If you tried to start all 3 simultaneously, you might try starting them one at a time. Justin_Sijbolts
Could you maybe share your specifications and indeed - as Walt said - try booting only one program first. Allan Niklas
Thank you for the ideas. Any application gets stuck at the same "point". What I haven't tried yet: Uninstalling, clearing all AppData-Folders like "locallow" and "roaming" and the other one and trying a clean new installation. Although I doubt that this method will help. Allan Niklas
Figured out, that Kaspersky Internet Security is blocking the communication. When I turn it off, Affinity is able to connect to the Affinity-Servers. -> A message that says "Affinity Publisher/Photo/Designer cannot communicate to the Affinity-Servers." might be helpful. 😀 Sean P and debraspicher

Kev Borg
Hi guys, I am going thru the exact same thing. I am only working for about 3-5 minutes if i am lucky and designer 2 and photo 2 crashes and this is on just a 2 page document, with text and a few pics. Plus every single time I reboot Designer 2 and Photo 2, I always get the Not Responding message when both apps are just booting up and both apps take forever to boot up. But if I actually touch anything both just crash instantly. I am running a WINDOWS 11 i9 9900X CORE X CPU 10 CORES / 20 THREADS ASUS RAMPAGE 6 EXTREME MOTHERBOARD 64 GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR3 3600 RAM NVIDIA RTX2082 GRAPHICS CARD CORSAIR HX1000 WATT POWER SUPPLY 5XSAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 2TB SSD NVME DRIVES I never had these problems with Designer 1 and its a real shame because i have been looking forward to these Package 2 I am just totally lost and have tried everything I can think of. cheers kev
Allan Niklas
Have you tried working without any anti virus or firewall protection? Because this is a different issue than mine.
