Yes, 1.10.5 is the latest and last v1 update. V2 is not an update. It is a brand new upgrade with many new features. If you log on to affinity.serif.com you can buy the new V2 apps —either individually or with the new Universal License— or select the 30-day trial. Hope this helps! DC9V
Do I understand correctly that future updates for version TWO will be called '1.xx.x', while version ONE won't receive any additional updates? Wouldn't it make much more sense to start counting from '2.xx.x', since the upgrade has been released? Pšenda

No. Version 2 updates will be called 2.XX.X. Just this week Serif released new versions of all three version 1 apps (to 1.10.6 > see here). From what I read version 1 apps could receive updates to keep them functional in future OS versions but development of new features goes into version 2 apps. d. jmwellborn, emmrecs01 and DC9V 3 Quote Affinity Designer 1 & 2 | Affinity Photo 1 & 2 | Affinity Publisher 1 & 2 Affinity Designer 2 for iPad | Affinity Photo 2 for iPad | Affinity Publisher 2 for iPad Windows 11 64-bit - Core i7 - 16GB - Intel HD Graphics 4600 & NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M iPad pro 9.7" + Apple Pencil
