jimh12345 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I need to fade the edges of a photo, to transparency. I've seen how to do one edge with a gradient mask, but for all four edges, that's cumbersome. And I'll definitely have to adjust it later, so any method that uses static, rasterized masks is out. Is there some easy-to-use filter or effect that does this? Quote
Old Bruce Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Easiest way is to use a Rectangle with a Gaussian Blur effect on it and use that as a clipping mask. You can enter any number greater than 100 directly into the Radius area. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
jimh12345 Posted November 11, 2022 Author Posted November 11, 2022 Hmmm.... haven't used a "clipping path". I'll file this solution for now, but it might turn out to be the one, thanks... Quote
