LordFlashHeart
When I launch Affinity Photo a box pops up where I can select a document to open. But whatever I select, be it a jpg, a png, even an 'affinity photo' document, it doesn't open at all. It simply ignores my selection and opens Affinity Photo without what I selected. In fact, now that I've done away with the 'welcome' panel at start-up, the pop up window pops up behind the Affinity workspace window so you don't even know it's there. So what's the point in this pop up window, it gives the option to open a document but then refuses to open anything... Or am I being really stupid here, in which case someone please explain. I'd like to add that documents open fine from within Affinity (using the toolbar). Cheers
barninga
i think that the open window is there due to a bug. i assume you are using photo 1.4. it's not there anymore in 1.4.1 beta. you can safely ignore it, but my advice is to download the last beta from the beta forum. Staff MEB Posted January 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi LordFlashHeart, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) That's a bug that was already corrected in the Betas. The Mac App Store version will be updated soon and will include the fix.
