Did Affinity Photo V2 support older NIK Plugins?

does anyone know if the "Google" Version of NIK Software (Color Efex4, ......) is still working with AP V2?

Yes, I installed them in V2 and they work fine.

The Nik filters don't work for me.
I can select them under "Plugins" and the log says "Plugin"
but the plugins won't open.
My system is Windows 11.
What's wrong?

Check, if you selected a pixel layer before trying to open the plugins. Also, NIK plugins can't deal with 32bit (colour depth) images, so that might also be worth checking.

Thanks for the reply, but i have 16-bit images and the filters are selectable, but they don't open.
In version 1.10 it works with the same settings.

Your Nik Collection path is wrong one - don't link that folder but the acutal one where they are installed, usually in "Program Files":

That looks like where the stand alone apps are saved. The plugins may be stored somewhere else, I think.

No, the directory contains the same files as I did with Affinity Photo 1.10 and it works there.
The 8bf files are present.

V1 points at the subfolder (./Color Efex Pro 4). That's where the plugin file (*.8bf) is located in. Your V2 path points at the parent folder.

This makes no difference. The filters can be selected, but do not start.

Check if your image is 32 bit. The plugins don't work with 32 bit images.

No, it doesn't work there either.

I am still not able to get my old (Google) Nik Collection recognized by AP2.  I'm on a new macbook air M2 with Ventura.  I don't think they worked with APv. 1 in this machine either but did with my previous macbook (intel).  Has anyone figured out how to get them recognized?  They are in my applications folder but are not working from there since they are not standalone apps.

Yep.
The installer won't work, but if you had a previously working installation on an older Mac, you only have to copy all necessary files to the appropriate directories.
