keithmalcom
I'm new and using the video tutorials. In the first video, there is a menu bar underneath the Pan bar that has tabs labeled 01-Levels, 02-Black and White, etc. I've tried to match my Affinity screen to all the settings in the video, but I'm not seeing that menu bar. Since the tutorial uses those tabs, I'm stuck. Anyone know the problem? My screenshot is attached. Affinity.tiff
Madame
Hi, it would be very helpful if you linked to the video. I'm just guessing here, but if you click the black and white circle, you get the adjustments layers. JFisher
Hi Are you referring to this video and the menu bar shown below?J
barninga
keith, i guess the bar you refer to is made of the tabs of the open files. it appears only if you have more than one file open and allows to switch from one file to another. it's not a tool or command menu. Madame
I see. I remember there were more people that were confused over this. It's the file names. keithmalcom
Thank you all! I get it now. It was confusing because I think the video author named his photos for the thing he was using them to demonstrate, so it made it seem like they were tabs for effects. Staff James Ritson Posted January 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi Keith, apologies for the confusion. They are just the document tabs for each open image, the idea being to make the video flow smoothly as opposed to opening each file individually. More recent videos are starting to take a different approach with multiple images, so in the future this will hopefully cause less confusion!
