Hi,

How can I save to iCloud and rename de editions on iPad with V2?

Thanks

You could set your default save location to iCloud in Preferences or use Save a Copy to navigate to any location. Opening that Saved copy will allow Save to update the file in the same directory.

@Serif

Please please please delete the default save folder under preferences and delete rename from the top menu.

Replace with the desktop function Save which allows browse to location and name to be given on first save in a browsed to location.

It was not possible in earlier IOS but it is now. Get rid of this confusiuon and lost files which is one of the biggest complaints against the iPad apps V1 and V2.

Same question, but to add. How did Affinity manage to make simple saving and renaming operations so utterly unintuitive? Please take a hard look at this Affinity. This software is a chore to use because you've made this awkward for no good reason.

Easiest method is to set Preferences to save to iCloud. In Home Screen swipe left and select rename. After renaming,swipe left again and tap save. File should now be renamed and saved to default folder. Open file and you now have a Save option under document menu. You have to use Save to update edits to folder. Auto save only updates sandbox file so if you don’t manually save you could lose work. And yes, it shouldn’t be this difficult 🙁
