NotMyFault Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 The perspective tool is far to clumsy in certain use cases. often I want to correct a skewed image with help of a known rectangular object. all I want to do source mode: mark the 4 corners of a known rectangular area (which is perspectively distorted) switch to destination mode Photo creates a default perspective layer based on minimum or maximum of corner positions Photo shows the result i can adjust the edges in dest mode to taste to correct overall aspect ratio affinity shows the size (in pixel and selectable measurement units) and aspect ratio of the resulting area in info panel while I adjust mdDesign, RichardMH, Krustysimplex and 4 others 7 Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. It was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic community. After 03.10.2025 find me on https://creofora.com
RichardMH Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 As do I. Nik Perspective Efex does it but its a bit painful getting an image there and back from Photo. NotMyFault 1
mdDesign Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 I also support this request. I'm trying to get rid of Adobe and the only feature I need from Lightroom that AP2 does have is their Guided Upright correction.
CRC Studio Posted June 28 Posted June 28 We also need a guided perspective correction tool (like Camera Raw’s Upright with guides) to finally leave Adobe. 🤞
