V2 and V1 question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have several questions about the software that i did not find answers for.

First for V1 can I uninstall all apps on system 1 and install on my 2nd system? I ask as I just purchased V2 for main pc.

Next question, can all the addon apps and files from v1 be used in V2? Such as "Grade UI Kit" and others.

Thanks
Fred

You can install V1 or V2 applications on as many of your personal systems as you want. I would ot remove V1 from your system until after you've installed V2. That way, V2 will be able to migrate some of your V1 content and settings.

Yes, they should work. Though there are some reports of some brushes not working, for some as yet unknown reason. So, again, perhaps a reason to delay deleting V1.

I will uninstall v1 and install v2 shortly.

I really think you should wait on uninstalling V1. You need it still installed when you first run V2, if you want any content (assets, brushes, etc.) that you've added manually to be automatically migrated. You might also want it for awhile after that.

Hi walt.farrell this may be a silly question but after purchasing V2 will it be a separate application/instance that can run side by side with V1.
So what I mean is can I run them both at the same time?

Yes.
