Dariusz
Hello I'm developing plugins for studios pipelines/productions etc. Does affinity 2 support c++/python plugin/extensions ? We have automated production in photoshop and are open to moving to Affinity with latest release, but unless we can bring our project management/image automation/etc in to affinity its a no go for our studio. walt.farrell
Photo 2 supports the same kind of .8bf PhotoShop plugins that V1 supported. The Developers at Serif have said they're working on more general scripting support, but they haven't said much about what it will be, and nothing about when it will be available. voidshine
I just upgraded to v2 mainly so I can leverage the scripting/extension API when it comes out. Very excited about this news! We are going to see some amazing new things when developers can drive Affinity's awesome engine with their own unique ideas.
v_kyr
I don't necessarily want to curb your euphoria, but some people have been waiting for it since 2017/18. Therefore, the wording of being "patient" is meant seriously here and is indeed to be taken literally.
