Unable to start trial of any Affinity products

What happened is that I downloaded and installed all 3 apps and when I start each app I get a screen like the one in my starting post with no option to start a trial.

Login with your Affinity ID, then you'll be given an option to start a trial.

I wish that this is more clear because right now when I see a screen like the one in the OP I think that there's no trial version.

You need your Affinity Store  email and password, not your Affinity forum email and password. They are two separate accounts, and while they may use the same values, it is not required and for many users the password, at least, is different. 

Also, login to the forum uses a username, not an email address, doesn't it? (I will have to check when I next logout, which hasn't been for awhile.)
