[V2] Landscape as default?

Hi @Linkyop

The orientation defaults to the last used in a new document.

If you start a new Landscape document. when you next start a new document, the orientation will default to Landscape.

I was surprised to find the new templates that would most always be used for TV screens default to portrait (eg: 1080x1920 instead of 1920x1080). If it switches to last used, does that mean A4 (etc) will then switch to landscape?

Might be better to be able to select portrait vs. landscape in the new document dialog rather than have to alter it afterwards? One extra checkbox next to the dimensions?

Hi @Paul Coddington

If the last document you create used a landscape orientation, then the next document you create will be set to a landscape orientation as default.
You can change the orientation in the new document window.

Doh! Must be going blind in my old age! Thanks for your patience.

I spotted that little button set the very first time I ran the new version. And since that first time I have forgotten about its placement pretty much every time I need it. I know it is here somewhere...

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
