Searcher33624 Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 (edited) I want to back to the original (Photo 1?). I know it is my f___ fault for rushing to upgrade to PHOTO 2, not realizing you change a lot of things. I can not find how to enter a short cut to RESET the color (palette?) to BLACK & WHITE. and this annoy the hell out of me. Here I am 2 weeks into the program, going crazy with so many things to learn... and again, I have to start struggling again just to find what I had already found? YOU - Affinity - could at least WARN USERS of the CHANGES, so that we can be more thoughtful. Edited November 9, 2022 by Searcher33624 missing word Quote
Searcher33624 Posted November 9, 2022 Author Posted November 9, 2022 Well, I am glad the subject was approved for those who want to go back to Photo 1. I was lucky to finally find out what I needed to "SET FILL to Black and white" and give it a shortcut as I did with Photo 1, BUT it already uses "d" as a short cut and voilà: BLACK & WHITE. EASY? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...... both processes were DIFFICULT (took me time to get the info). Who is heck come up with THESE NAMES??? "SET FILL" is that the EXACT name of this feature... I still have not seen ANYWHERE, what is the NAME of this little tiny icon with the two color. Quote
MikeTO Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 The callouts in this help system screenshot provides the name: Primary/Secondary or Stroke/Fill. I agree that the icon could use a tool tip to make this a bit easier. Perhaps I don't understand, but installing Photo 2 will not have affected Photo 1 at all. If you want to use it, just run the old application instead of the new application.
