Hi,

You can change how the icons look from the preferences menu: Edit -> Preferences... -> User Interface -> Icon Style.

Note that most icons/tools will be greyed out if you don't have anything open in the app.

No joy! I don't even have the "Icon Style" option. I'm using what I thought was the most current updated version - 1.10.5. At least, that was the last update I was notified about. :( I'm off to check!

Here you go.

I just re-downloaded AP from the App Store. Still no joy. :( It is 1.10.5 version, with no updates for it showing in the App store. Prior to .5 version, the icons were in color.

That really does look like you have monochrome icons selected in your app's Preferences. It should be in the User Interface section.

Perhaps show us a screenshot of that?

Sorry! I thought you were using the new V2 of Affinity Photo. Please see below the option in Version 1. Hopefully this works!

Ah HA! THANK you! I thought when I did the update it would save my preferences. Apparently, it did not, and I didn't even think to check that Monochromatic Iconography. DUH!
