kporcaro
Just downloaded Affinity 2.0 onto my 11” 2018 iPad Pro. Similar to the setting on the Retina Macs, iPadOS 16 allows iPad to change the screen Display Zoom. There are two settings: Default, and More Space—elements are a little smaller, and the screen acts like a higher resolution display. In Affinity 2.0, if the iPad Display Zoom is set to “More Space”, edges of shapes and fonts are jagged instead of smooth. In other contexts I would say this looks like anti-aliasing isn’t working, but I don’t know enough about the technical pieces here to say that. This bug doesn’t occur in Affinity Designer 1.x on iPad. I’ve also noticed this on Publisher Steps to Reproduce: In iPad Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Display Zoom. Change to “More Space” Designer 2.x (More Space) Designer 1.x (More Space) Designer 2.x (Normal) Edited November 9, 2022 by Keith Porcaro Typo correction Skippy and Surgio'
Hammond
This issue also occurs in Larger Text mode, however it manifests as a miscalculation of the art board size as well as jagged lines.

Sean2019
Same issue on my newly acquired 2022 iPad Pro 12.9” M2
Hastam
Also it seems to be a general issue and not the one exclusive to Designer, as Photo behaves in exactly same way.
Surgio'
Same, also scrolling around at board is not smooth. 12.9” M1. Worked fine on version
Skippy
I thought I was going crazy, wondering why everything was all edgy when zoomed in. Having the same issue on a iPad 11" M1 with "More Space" turned on in the display settings.

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted March 15, 2023 Staff Share Posted March 15, 2023 The issue "iPad Anti-aliasing is broken with iPad System Settings > Display > Display Zoom > 'More Space' enabled" (REF: AFD-6154) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1728". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
