DenalB
Now Affinity is a Windows App (UWP) not a Standalone App.

Windows didnt even know what to do with an MSIX file. So i googled it can be opened with 7zip. That worked but when i double click the Designer.exe file in the App folder, nothing happens. I know win7 is terribly outdated but Designer V1 ran without too many problems. So i guess i need a new computer for V2 ?
Staff Callum Posted November 9, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 9, 2022 V2 supports Windows 10 (build 19041) or later so you would need to update your OS in order to use V2. GTP3
I was unaware of this myself, just bought a V2 license, didn't realize they were dropping support for Win7. Is Affinity going to come out with a Linux version, for those of us that don't want to run Windows 10 spyware?

Updates can be delivered in smaller batches. Only the files that have an older revision level need to be downloaded instead of the programmes as a complete package. And if there is an increased need for security, I recommend a Raspberry Pi with Adguard Home or Pi-Hole.
